Krystal Finnegan has been practicing real estate law since the beginning of her legal career for large corporate outfits such as Prosperity Bank, Hines, and most recently FirstKey Homes, LLC. Krystal handles a wide variety of legal matters, but she is devoted primarily to acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, facilities and property management, and vendor risk management across all asset types.
What makes Krystal a strong legal partner is her experience in high valued and complex deals, as well as her ability to understand the overall business model of a deal. She has provided legal counsel for approximately 250 banking centers across Texas and Oklahoma, advised on acquisitions and dispositions aggregating approximately $1 billion in real estate assets across the United States, and in turn collaborated regularly with the top executives in each firm on all phases of commercial and real estate transactions, including business and financial aspects, insurance, risk, tax and accounting implications, and corporate strategy.
Krystal received her Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude, from University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business where she concentrated in business management and marketing. She later went on to receive her law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston where she received an Academic Merit Scholarship. Since the completion of her Juris Doctorate in May of 2014, she has been fortunate enough to start and grow her practice in the great city of Houston, TX and its surrounding areas.
