Jake Guarino joined Wilson Cribbs + Goren’s team of attorneys upon graduating from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2024. His work with the firm focuses on identifying, assessing and resolving a wide variety of land use and traditional commercial real estate matters across all asset types.
At UHLC, Jake was a Dean’s Scholar and held numerous leadership roles, including President and Vice President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Organization, Treasurer of the Health Law Organization, and a Podcast Editor for the Houston Law Review. He also worked as a Teaching Assistant for a 1L Property class under Professor Gina Warren and actively participated in the various 1L Student Mentorship Programs on campus.
Jake graduated from Southern Methodist University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, and respective minors in Ethics and Law & Legal Reasoning. He was a Second Century Scholar and two-time Captain of the SMU Men’s Lacrosse Team and the Vice President of the SMU Philosophy Club.
