Abe's primary areas of focus include the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, including office buildings, retail centers, apartment projects and land. His matters range from the routine to the complex, as well as from single locations to multiple sites. The scope of his practice extends beyond the borders of Texas to numerous other states throughout the country. He also has assisted foreign entities with domestic commercial real estate transactions.
Clients of all sizes rely on Abe for his seasoned negotiation skills. He has worked with entities as small as arising entrepreneurs and as large as Fortune 50 companies. These organizations seek out Abe as a trusted advisor because of his deep familiarity with and understanding of real estate contracts and the many contingencies and issues that can arise throughout the deal-making process. A true problem-solver, he guides clients toward practical and workable resolutions with speed and efficiency.

As one of the founders of the firm, Abe has been influential and instrumental in developing the culture of excellence that clients have come to expect from Wilson Cribbs + Goren. The firm's unique egalitarian culture is a direct outgrowth of Abe's own vision, and his passion for real estate law resonates throughout the organization. The firm currently has a significant number of attorneys who, like Abe, are board certified in commercial real estate law by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of Texas. This dedication to excellence in commercial real estate law stands as a testament to Abe's leadership and commitment. He develops and leads teams of skilled counsel for each of his matters and delegates the work to ensure cost-effectiveness for his clients.
In addition to his talents in the law, Abe is responsible for most of the law firm's significant business development functions and efforts. Simliarly to the way he practices law, Abe is a masterful and meticulous planner, and those attending firm events cannot help but notice this thoughtful and thorough attention to detail.
Abe is also devoted to giving back to the local community. For 20 consecutive years, he has chaired the annual Evelyn Rubenstein JCC Charity Golf Tournament. During this time, under Abe's leadership, the tournament has considerably grown and has raised more than $1 million to support early childhood, grade school and summer camp programs and scholarships for children at the Evelyn Rubenstein JCC. Because of his close relationships throughout the commercial real estate community, Abe has helped attract the financial support of other real estate-related entities, including banks, title companies and other law firms.
